The 2011 Land of Enchantment 1000
September 30-October 2, 2011 Refund Policies Last modified: Mar 19, 2011 In 2007 we added some refund policies but continue to be optimistic as in the past, hoping that noone would actually want to cancel their ride. For past rallies we have given returns only in a few cases of riders making "unplanned contact" with the ground shortly before the rally. However, to encourage early entrants and indecisive riders here are some hopefully reasonable rules for the 2011 LOE/1000:
1. Entry Fee $110.00 ($160.00 for two-up) Max of 50 riders anticipated (Please watch entrants page)
2. Discount of $10.00 applicable if entry is postmarked by July 20, 2011
3. Refund of $80.00/$120.00 if withdrawn before Aug 12, 2011 (Notify RallyMaster at nmdcporter@yahoo.com)
4. Full refund for riders crashing anytime after Aug 1, 2011
5. No refunds for riders withdrawing after August 12,2011.
6. No shirt if entering after Sep 10, 2011 (Entrant may chose a $10.00 discount or pay an additional $10.00
for hand or mail delivery of shirt in October or November)
7. In order to simplify budgeting for the 2011 LOE/1000 we have maintain the same fee. Any excess funds following the rally will be donated to an LDRider friendly charity in the name of the LOE/1000 riders. Two such charities are: the PBTF and "Eddie's Road", a part of the larger Eddie James Foundation for Children.
Following the 2010 LOE/1000 Rally we were able to send $550.00 to the Eddie's Road!
